Downtown Utica New York Portrait Session

I absolutely love photographing portrait sessions in Utica New York. There are so many locations that I just LOVE! Whenever I work with Natasha, she is always up for trying any location and going anywhere which is a HUGE bonus! We’ve found so many hidden gems in Utica from our short time working together!

This month, I was super nervous about the weather for our portrait session. It was supposed to rain in the evening so we thought doing a sunrise session would be best! However, when I woke up, it looked so gray and dreary! Luckily I had nothing to be bummed about! By the time I met up with Natasha in Downtown Utica, the lighting was perfect! (Insert happy dance here.)

As usual, her outfits were completely adorable. I especially loved her first outfit! Many people always wonder what to wear to one of our portrait sessions. The best advice that I can give, is that neutral and pastel colors look best with my light and airy style of photography! So, when Natasha’s first outfit was a gray and white shirt, I was super excited! Plus, the shirt was absolutely adorable and I wish I had one of my own in my wardrobe!

Her second outfit features some merch from the one and only Taylor Swift. I truly admire Natasha’s ability to make a t-shirt look so work appropriate. She definitely has the magic touch. Not to mention, I love to pop of color she threw into the outfit!
