Today’s episode is with Emily Grass. Emily is a yoga educator that specializes in helping Empaths. She uses the tools of yoga to help Empaths trust their intuition, protect their energy, and sharpen their superpower, and does this through movement, meditation, and mindfulness training.
“If we don’t learn how to disconnect, sometimes it can be overwhelming and leave us drained and leave us not wanting to leave the house or do anything.” (5:00)
“A lot of us assume that other people can feel what we feel so we assume that they’ll read our body language or they’ll feel our energy when other people aren’t empaths and they can’t do that. So we really have this responsibility to tell people what we need.” (8:15)
“It can feel really uncomfortable to set boundaries for that reason, it can feel selfish or you feel guilty like you’re taking something away from someone else.” (10:13)
“If you can’t find the time to take care of yourself then you really need to think about that, and sit with that, and figure out how you can prioritize yourself and see that you are important and that you can’t pour from an empty cup.” 12:35
