Clinton New York, Hamilton College Engagement Session
Bri and Scott traveled all the way from Rochester, New York to have their engagement session. Although you can’t tell from the pictures, it was such a gray and dreary day! Not to mention cold! But these two came bearing nothing but smiles and their super cute dog Minnie (just wait until you see her!)
Bri and Scott, I’m so happy I am able to work with you! You are both so patient, caring, and genuine. I cannot wait to be there on the biggest day of your lives and watch you two say “I do!” I had a blast getting to know each of you and I cannot wait to continue to do so!
Want to know more about just how CUTE these two are?! Keep reading!
Tell us about how you met
Bride-to-be: We both attended Nazareth College and were a part of the same friend group freshman year. Scott had the biggest crush on me but I wasn’t to interested in him… haha at first! Slowly over the second semester of our freshman year we began hanging out more. The summer of 2013, when we were 754 miles apart and we visited each other every chance we could. It was that summer we officially decided we wanted to be together!
Groom-to-be: We met at Nazareth college in Writing 101. It is funny because we never really talked at all even though we shared that class and the same friend group. It was towards the end of the semester I got a big crush on her. A week or two after winter break, I began to talk to her and we started dating the following summer.
Tell us about your favorite memory with your future spouse!
Bride-to-be: This is a tough one. However, I will say I think my absolute favorite memory was our proposal weekend… to have Scott, in front of our friends and our families, ask to spend forever with me made everything we had talked about and dreamed of for years finally become real. That weekend I don’t think I have ever cried so much (happy tears!) or have had my heart feel so incredible full.
Groom-to-be: Where do I begin?! If I had to choose one memory it would be moving in together, in our rental in Rochester, NY. It is the perfect size for us, and has a backyard for Minnie our puppy.
Tell us about the funniest thing you’ve ever seen the other do!
Bride-to-be: Probably the funniest thing I have seen Scott do is something he does every day. Whenever he comes home he begins yelling “BUHBAH” and “BUBS” (this is what he calls our puppy Minnie) even before he opens the door. Hahaha, I laugh and smile every time.
Groom-to-be: One of the funniest things I have ever seen Bri do I was actually not with her. However, she was out on the town with her gals and went to her favorite late-night pizza shop (pizza is her favorite food). Somehow, they managed to get an entire large pizza for free and the picture she took… is one for the ages. Every time I see it, I always burst out laughing. I would share it with everyone, but she would not be happy if I did that.
What do you love most about your future spouse?
Bride-to-be: What I love most about Scott is how patient and positive he is with me and in every situation we face together. He is always so happy and comes home singing and smiling every day from work. I always tell him he is my rock, because its true, he is able to ground me and keep me sane. And of course I love how much he loves our puppy Minnie! It melts my heart.
Groom-to-be: What I love most about her is how she pushes me to be a better person. She leads by example and is not only my best friend, but also one of my main role models.
Dear Future Spouse,
