Twin Ponds Wedding

Michael and Rachel’s wedding at Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club was extra special to me. Not only was it the first wedding I photographed on my own, but Michael is my wonderful cousin. I was so honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding. Michael has always been a cousin who has been there, whether its to sit down with him at his favorite bar, or chat with on family get togethers.  Michael is such a caring gentleman, I always thought he deserved the best.

I remember when he brought Rachel home to one of our family dinners. I liked her immediately. She was spunky and knew what she liked and wanted. She was the perfect compliment to Michael and I remember thinking “that’s the kind of person that he needs.” When they got engaged, I was SO HAPPY and it’s needless to say, I’m even happier now that they’re married.

Their wedding day was a perfect May day. Everything from the weather, to all the out of town family made it such an amazing and memorable day. If you’ve never been to Twin Ponds, it has a beautiful outdoor garden for the ceremony location and not to mention the reception hall was so unique! It made for the perfect atmosphere!

Rachel & Michael, I am so happy for the both of you, words cannot even being to describe. I wish you both so many years of love and happiness and I cannot wait to watch our families grow!
