Wedding at the Cannery, Vernon NY

When I first started talking to Jen about her wedding at the Cannery in Vernon NY, I knew right away that she was my kind of bride. Jen has this quality about her that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. She’s one of those people that you feel you could immediately become BFF’s with. When we first met, she came with her mother. Turns out, her mother and I work for the same company! Small world right?! It’s always so nice to be able to make those connections with people. Not to mention, she was soon to be a police wife just like myself! We ended up having quite a few friends in common which made working with her all the more fun! We went right into planning mode and talked about all of the things she was hoping for on her wedding day. Her wedding plans were amazing and I was so excited to be working with her!

The wedding day came and guess what? It was rainy. To quote Alanis Morissette, isn’t that ironic? Despite the rain, everyone was in great spirits and the day still went according to plan. Jen was so organized for the day, she already had a rain plan of where we would go for pictures. After the first look, we all piled onto a school bus that they rented for the day. It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding day; seeing everyone in fancy clothes, piling onto a school bus, and enjoying a few cocktails before pictures.

Jen & Tyler, It was such an honor being able to photographer your wedding day. Everyone that I encountered, from family to friends, was so welcoming and fun to be around. You both are truly wonderful people. I wish you many years of love and happiness! Thank you for letting me be your wedding photographer!

XOXO
